Review of Secret Window (2004) by Curtis H — 30 Dec 2011
A somewhat predictable psychological thriller kept entertaining by two fantastic lead performances. Johnny Depp's neurotic author is one Steven King should be proud of (as he wrote so many of those characters).
Though the film-making of this film doesn't quite make it "The Shining," Depp's performance makes for one of the best leads in a Stephen King adaptation. John Turturro as a dry angry Southern man is effectively scary.
