Innocent, charming, and beautifully photographed (conrad hall!). the cast is well-rounded and absolutely spot-on, and the story is likewise seamless. the resolution is a bit too 'easy' for me, and the 'villains' were just a tad too cold, but everything about the movie made me captivated.
