That the film is in Gaelic enhances significantly the effectiveness its folklore tales. Quite similar to 'big fish' it has a few very poetic moments (in particular in the end) but I felt that the story remains rather detached from its characters.
Beautiful landscapes but some of the pictures are a little overexposed.
