Review of Seachd: The Inaccessible Pinnacle (2007) by Samantha H — 01 Feb 2008
Fantastic. The Isle of Skye is filmed in a positively breathtaking way, and the plot and character relationships are very touching. The stories the grandfather told, and they way that they were integrated into the film, was my favourite part.
Gaelic is a lovely language, and I am so glad that this film was made in it. If it were translated into English, I'm sure it would not have been half as good and it would have lost all of its ancient charm.
