Review of Se7en (1995) by Tero H — 30 Dec 2012
Pretty exciting but also a bit too graphic in its portrayal of the psychopath serial killer and crimes. Very well acted, Pitt, Spacey, Freeman, Paltrow. The film being disgusting is understandable considering the subject.
Even so, it gets a bit overboard. Does not stand still, the storytelling works. This movie was shown on tv, I've seen it before and remembered what would happen. Can't really be compared to Silence of the Lambs in my opinion, but its still well directed and acted.
