Sev7n is the epitome of a true thriller. Packed with suspense, albeit with a slow start, and compelling scenes with amazing chemistry among Freeman and Pitt, Sev7n is an amazing look on a dark chill enducing modern day murder mystery.

Pitt and Freeman are detectives who are assigned to solve the rapidly growing case of a series of murders inspired by each of the Seven Deadly Sins. As they grow closer in the case and as Freeman grows closer to his long awaited retirement, the amazingly unforgettable finale reveals shocking revelations about their madman culprint.

Sev7n is packed with compelling suspense. The film gives you great rush and energy in certain scenes, especially near the end - two scenes that amazed me were of course the ending and the first chase scene between Pitt and Kevin Spacey. The film's storyline and background is noticably grim and dark and it ties in well with its creepy atmosphere. Freeman and Pitt's polar opposite character chemistry works together very well, as well as a top notch performance by Spacey, convincingly demented in each cryptic word he utters in the ending. Freeman is once again amazing in his performance. The film is a bit slow in its beginning but picks up majorly over time. Of course I'm not going to spoil the ending, but it is full of shock and sheer amazing filmmaking. Sev7n is a jaw droppingly compelling thriller that fulfills its genre's intention completely.
