Scream 4 has its ups and downs -- it is at times both fresh and formulaic -- however, fans of the series will be more than pleased. Pros: Lots of meta humor; likable characters with hilarious dialog; it feels like a classic slasher film.
Cons: Formulaic; predictable; adds nothing fresh to the series; a hit-or-miss twist.
