Review of Scent of a Woman (1992) by Alex M — 24 Apr 2012
Well this was a movie a good friend recommended to me and I loved it. Al Pacino is just hilariously entertaining in this movie like in Scarface it's hard to not focus on him. The relationship between the two main characters Charlie (Chris O'Donnel) and Frank Slade (AL Pacino) is interesting to watch as they interact together.
I think one of my favorite parts is the restaurant scene and how he tempts Charlie into staying in the city with him instead of going back (he even pretends to look at his watch like he can see it...and he doesn't even use the hand his watch is on XD).
The scene of them driving is hilarious too, you'd think a blind guy would crash right away but he does a pretty good job with help from Charlie. It has it's humor to keep it from being completely dramatic, but the sad moments really can draw you in.
I truly recommended this movie to anyone who loves a good drama.
