Review of Scent of a Woman (1992) by Val M — 20 Jun 2018
An incredible performance by Al Pacino. In turn ruthless, strict, cynical, proud,.
Violent, flamboyant, sad, playful, sensitive and humane, Al Pacino leads his character from coldness to humanity and from death back to life by resorting to an incredible range of emotions. Al Pacino turns this film into a masterpiece. The intrigue is gripping due to his incredible acting skills which take us into an inner journey into his blind and yet so perceptive world.
Al Pacino leads the blind military man into the light with the help of Charly.
What could have been a decadent tragedy gradually turns into a hymn for life, respect, integrity and love.
Thumbs up!
