Review of Scent of a Woman (1992) by Sagitarriat J — 17 Jun 2018
Meh. Not nearly Pacino's best (although as a makeup, he got the Oscar here). This character is not believable as a military retiree (and became blind after juggling live hand grenades to impress junior officers?? That is the most ridiculous, least credible, and least believable story anyone could have possibly imagined.
Super fail!) And Pacino is not a good casting choice for the role. The ending is predictable, as is almost everything else. There are moments here, but altogether, way too many moments - far too long!
