Review of Savages (2006) by Luisfelipe Z — 28 Nov 2008
A quietly funny and beautifully sad drama. Confronts the grim reality of reaching the point where you must care for your parent(s), or find someone to care for them, and the responsiblity and guilt that accompanies that, even if your parent(s) may not have cared for you in the best way.
Great performances from great actors; you care about these people even though they aren't perfect. This one really touches a nerve.
