Review of Savage Grace (2007) by Michael S — 21 May 2009

Utterly disturbing, it's hard to explain how I felt about this film so I'll put aside the shocking subject matter aside. While the characters were so unlikable it was impossible for me to remotely care for any of them, I admired the great performances and the well executed structure of the film - told in a span of 30 odd years by revealing to the audience only 5 days in these characters lives without leaving too much effort for the audience to fill in the gaps.

A well told true story I can appreciate as a writer myself but a very difficult film for me to recommend.
