What a twisted film. Given that it's based on real happenings, I can't fault it for sometimes absurd plot developments. But Kalin spends too much time focusing certain aspects of Barbara's life while neglecting other, more important, ones.
Perhaps he wanted to leave it ambiguous until the end, but I think there is fault in the fact that it was only about halfway through the film that I could tell where he was leading us.
