Review of Satyricon (1969) by Carl T — 06 Aug 2016
The set design in 'Satyricon" makes you feel extremely uncomfortable, the epic size of the sets, lighting and long shots used create an empty ambience through a majority of scenes. Fellini's trademark group of unique characters and the grotesque and sometimes brutal scenes are an uneasy watch, but the film holds up well in it's pace and story delivery.
