I love this film. It was filmed in my home city Nottingham, seeing the locations featured in the film, that no longer exsist, is fascinating. Although Albert Finney is excellant, I thnk that it's Hylda Baker that steals the film as his Aunt who performs the abortion on Rachel Roberts charachter.
Fantastic Film, although I can't help but wonder what kind of fil it would have been had Diana Dors starred in it - she was meant to play the charachter played by Rachel Roberts.
