Review of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (1960) by Michael B — 20 Mar 2009
A classic British film with Albert Finney stealing the show as England's answer to Marlon Brando; trying to make sense out of a life which exists entirely between the walls of the factory and the pub.
Gritty and realistic, this is a must for anyone interested in an alternative history of the '60's or just anyone who appreciates great acting.
