Kristin Scott Thomas is always wonderful to watch and delivers a powerful performance. The two sides of the movie flow back and forth easily but the present day storyline was sometimes a bit self-indulgent. Devastating and profound at times and yet the ending was slightly clichà (C).
Overall, a great movie with enjoyable performances.
