Review of Sarah's Key (2010) by Ned P — 12 Nov 2012
What a great movie. Great as a story, great as a history lesson and a lesson on ethics and great as an artful performances of protagonists. Gut-wrenching scenes of events in 1942 Paris. Ending brings the closure but in back of your mind lingers a question of how many real life stories from the same era never had that luxury.
I absolutely love Kristin Scott and that little girl (I have to look for her name) playing Sarah, did an unbelievable job with the depth and confidence beyond her years. If you like the movie that will force you to ponder about the life long after finishing credits, this is it.
