Review of Sarah's Key (2010) by Jon A — 05 Oct 2012
A dual narrative Holocaust drama that examines the Vel d'Hiv round up of Jews in France in 1942. Itâ(TM)s well acted with MÃ (C)lusine Mayance, in particular, giving a great performance as a young Jewish girl desperate to save her brother.
While the present day story eventually descends into melodrama, the historical part is emotionally wrenching and involving.
