Review of San Andreas (2015) by Cade H — 07 Mar 2016
San Andreas seemed like it might be a little different then all the natural disaster movies that came before it. With the addition of The Rock and a story that focused on the characters almost as much as the impending disaster, San Andreas had lots of good things going for it.
The effects and the wide spread disaster over the city were awesome to see and there were some thrilling action moments. The film also had some touching moments that brought a lot of heart and life to the characters.
Still, in the end San Andreas was another big budget disaster film that featured cities getting destroyed and one hero out to save his friends and family. The idea was the same we are used to but because of some nice differences this one sits atop the pile of other movies like it.
