San Andreas is a decent disaster movie that actually tries to make the story and character development good, with mixed results. San Andreas has some some unintentionally funny moments, from certain ridiculous scenes to some parts where Carla Gugino's acting would cause unintentional giggles.
The impressive CGI visual moments distracted from the fact that this earthquake situation is bad and takes away the lives of innocents. Nevertheless, the Rock does a great job as the lead, as this is the one of the better disaster film in years despite some questionable moments.
