I'll take a wild guess and say the writers spent no more than a day on the script because the best way to describe anything but the action sequences is pathetic. Its borderline embarrassing in parts and silly.

The movie works better when the camera shows the larger picture instead of the personal view of lousy characters. Oh did I mention its the biggest cliche movie of all time? .
