Sweet film with a nice cast. McGregor and Blunt are very good, and Kristin Scott Thomas is her usual great self. I did find the film a bit precious and there were some plot points I found rather unbelievable (the main plot point regarding salmon in Yemen, though fantastic, was forgivable.
Some of the predictable, paint-by-numbers story line, not so much). Also, I'm not quite sure why this was marketed as a comedy. There were a few mildly humorous moments, but this is mainly a love story with more than a little drama.
I do recommend it, though - you may just need to suspend your disbelief a bit more than usual.
