Review of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2012) by Buggy B — 11 Jun 2014

This was very good, it's a BBC production, the kind of movie your Mum would like. Ewan plays a nerdy, awkward scientist type going through a midlife crisis. Through a series of events he agrees to help a sheikh fulfil his dream of bringing sportfishing to the deserts of Yemen while also falling for a woman hired to be part of the project.

It's quirky and funny, very British and kinda moving. Can't fault this on any level except maybe for Ewan's characters name (Mr. Jones) by which he is referred to constantly, and every time I thought of Indiana Jones.

Anyways, KST gave me big laughs but her character is quite the bitch. McGregor and Blunt are great, the Sheikh is hot. 6/8/14.
