Review of Saints and Soldiers (2003) by Jason C — 29 Aug 2005

This small war flick achieved its goal and got its message across. This movie was supposedly bankrolled by the Mormons, so I was concerned that it would be too preachy. However the morale of loving you enemies, turning the other cheek, ect.

came across in a fairly subtle manner. And in this day and age when moviegoers are subjected to such nihilistic fare, this movie is like a breath of fresh air.
