Review of Saint (1997) by Ray R — 16 Dec 2013
Any fan of the original TV series or anyone expecting a good espionage thriller will be disappointed; the film lacks ideas and becomes an awkward runaway movie that has none of the charisma of the Bond movies or the original version, as Simon Templar uses his chameleon disguising techniques to get the formula for cold fusion out of an Oxford graduate, with predictable complications, laughable characters and a screenplay that waters everywhere.
