One of those movies that is enjoyable despite having a plot that is mostly nonsensical. I recently rewatched this, having out of the blue a recollection of seeing it in the theater and wondering why this weirdly sexy Volvo commercial never got a sequel.
I still not sure why it couldn't manage a second film. Simon Templar himself remains an interesting premise, and the acting in this movie is adorable, just don't think too hard about the epic pseudoscience in the plot.
