Review of Saint (1997) by Jay L — 30 Jun 2013
"Cunning. Devious. Treacherous. Dangerous.".
The Saint is a slick and cunning espionage thriller that was directed by Phillip Noyce and stars Val Kilmer and The gorgeous Elizabeth Shue. Absolutely action packed with plenty of shootouts and chase sequences that will keep you engaged throughout this thrill ride. Phillip Noyce has become quite accustomed to these action packed espionage films, and no kne dies them better. It's fast paced, it's explosive, it's fun, and it's easy to follow. It's also smart and well made. High grade entertainment that will please any action enthusiast.
Val Kilmer gives a great performance as a very deceptive spy. His different personalities all with different looks and accents are definately something to marvel from an acting perspective. Elizabeth Shue gives a good performance. The acting is great all around. A pulse pounding, edge of your seat knockout that will have you pinned to your seat.
