Lloyd's masterpiece most assuredly. Not his first or last "scare" films. Though he tried many times and many ways, many believe he never topped hanging on the hands of a clock on the side of department store building he was forced to climb.
Lloyd, has some wonderful bits aside from and we must also think of all the nostalgia of a twenties department store we privy to. Lloyd as always the over qualified athlete was able to make it look hard, where as Keaton made it easy looking.
As a result we suffer far more with Lloyd's hardships.
