Review of Saboteur (1942) by Tim T — 13 Jan 2009
Okay, but not as good as some other Hitchcock films. The opening action was pretty laughable, and I got a kick out of the theme of "the average America citizen is willing to stick their neck out to save the world" (this was made as the US entered WWII).
My biggest laugh came in the scene with the circus folk and all I could think is the bearded woman represents the Abe Lincoln / US. Overall, fun film, just don't take it too seriously.
