Review of Saboteur (1942) by Allan N — 25 Nov 2012
You'd expect a lot better from Hitchcock. The pacing is at times boorish and the WWII-era pro-American propaganda is so extreme it becomes laughable (victim to the times, I realize). All-in-all, it feels like a poorly reworked and Americanized 39 Steps.
At least Priscilla Lane makes a great dame and Robert Cummings is devastatingly delicious.
