Review of Rust and Bone (2012) by David L — 05 Apr 2013
This movie somehow manages to be both naturalistic and full of symbolism. Both facets of storytelling combine in a sort of exquisite symmetry. I'd love to see more of actor Matthias Schoenaerts though Cotillard matches him in intensity on screen.
One of the best movies I have seen this year so far if not THE best. Profoundly moving.
