A hard movie to rate... the world's first unedited feature film (it consists of one sweeping shot) is technically brilliant, but also incredibly dull.
Many will argue that the plot isn't the point of Russian Ark and they are right. However, all feature films should be entertaining and apart from the first 10 minutes this simply isn't the case.
Worth a watch if you want to be wowed by incredible cinematography, but don't expect anything beyond that.
