A truly miraculous one take movie that made me marvel at the technical virtuosity of sokurov and his dp. Their ambition and enormous financial risk in executing this monumental endeavour is to be applauded and serves as a lesson to any aspiring filmmaker that something like this can be achieved.
The intoxicating artwork in this palatial museum functions as a grand backdrop to the constant movement of the camera.
