A beautiful and unique film all shot in one continuous take. The costumes and sets are exquisite and the music is wonderful. The film takes the viewer on a journey through 400 years of Russian History.
Some people may accuse the film of being too long or boring but they are missing the whole point. Russian Ark is not so much a film as it is a journey, just enjoy it for what it is.
