Review of Runaway Train (1985) by Simon T — 22 Aug 2015
Bafflingly overpraised, very ordinary thriller, with a hugely miscast Jon Voight overacting in compensation. The best runaway train movie is Joseph Sargent's original 1975 Taking of Pelham 123. This has none of that one's wit, humour and excitement.
