Review of Runaway Jury (2003) by Jeffrey L — 01 Oct 2009
I feel like all the John Cusack movies nowadays seem to be pushing some sort of agenda. Take for example 2012, or this movie. The gun company that was accused was put in a bad light and they all seemed cold and calculating, whereas the prosecution was just doing the right thing and standing up for the grieving wife. Right. I found myself siding with the prosecution before I even knew what was going on. I don't like movies that I feel like it tries to shove the message down your throat, and this one wasn't too bad, but it could've been better near the end.
This movie was a good movie, if you don't care about the bias. I liked it a lot. Good drama.
