Review of Rumble Fish (1983) by Miguel O — 31 Aug 2007
Described as 'an art film for kids', Rumble Fish works on many levels: stylistically pleasing and well-acted, you can follow the straight narrative or get completely lost in the existential ideas being formed around its centre of gravity.
Sadly it has become much forgotten when surrounded by the other 'teen movies' of its generation and hidden amongst other Coppola classics, but Rumble Fish rewards repeat viewings.
