Review of Rumble Fish (1983) by Max O — 18 Oct 2008
Maybe the most underrated movie of all time. Call me crazy, but I think it's right up there with Coppola's best films. Stuart Copeland's score is unique and brilliant, and the photography is gorgeous.
Best of all are the two center performances, with Matt Dillon as the inarticulate but sensitive Rusty James and Mickey Rourke as the intelligent but damaged Motorcycle Boy. I can't recommend this enough.
