Review of Ruby Sparks (2012) by Scott Y — 16 May 2014
An amazingly curious picture. Wild, fantastical, crazy, saddening, haunting and I could continue with more descriptive terms. Most of all this film explores morality within a strange medium: fictional writing with a dash of magic, maybe a dash of wishful thinking.
It's up to you to decide. It doesn't have CGI or fabulous stunts or witches and worlocks. It's simple and a wonderful watch. I highly recommend giving this your attention.
