Review of Rope (1948) by Douglas S — 15 Nov 2008
Most would argue there are greater films by Hitchcock. This one however, always fascinated me. It is not only technically adept, it also brilliantly exposes the macabre side of human beings. I also happen to have met people in my life, that would probably have tried a stunt like this, if there had been enough incentive to do so.
