Review of Rope (1948) by Julio P — 02 Oct 2011
A very good thriller starring the always watchable James Stewart. This is not one of the more notable Hitchcock movies and seems to be forgotten. I really enjoy it every time I watch it. It is loosely based on the true story of Leopold and Loeb who killed a person just to prove their superiority and to commit the perfect crime.
It is well acted and the tension is very good. I would definitely recommend this if you haven't seen it. Very entertaining!
