A very engaging film with solid performances. However, Hitchcock wanted to make it look like Rope was shot in one take. This was essentially impossible to begin with so he had to make a cut every10- 15 minutes, however the way he try's to hide it is distracting and takes you out of the film.
It would've been better if he just shot it and edited it standardly.
