Review of Room (2015) by Justin J — 27 Feb 2016
A film whose excellence is understated, as the script wisely avoids the sort of pitfalls one has come to expect in these sorts of films (didactic sanctimony, in particular). Instead, the superb cast is given the space to carry the film on their own, without falling back on awkward exposition. There is hidden power in "Room"'s many elisions.
Anyone know the current sales rank of John Fowles' "The Collector" on Amazon?
