Review of Room (2015) by Bobby D — 16 Aug 2018
Room is an excellent film with an even better performance. Sometimes you see a subpar movie held up by a performance, and sometimes you see subpar acting held up by a good script or director. This is one of those films that has it all in spades, with Larson and Tremblay giving performances for the ages.
Anxiety, suspense, heartbreak, joy, and even a warm laugh or two, this film is deeply moving and I can't recommend it enough.
