I appreciate movies based on books when they take the book and visualize the author's work rather than changing it. "Room" has certainly done this. I loved the book and now I loved the movie.

Seeing a visual depiction of the novel was disturbing due to the content of the book and I had to pause the movie a couple times because it make me feel sick. The actors casted for the movie are great and I'm impressed at Jacob Tremblay for playing Jack's role.

I can't imagine the role is an easy one for such a young child and he did an amazing job.
