Review of Romulus, My Father (2007) by Sarah K — 18 Jan 2008
Although immeccably filmed with solid hardworking performances, this seemed like a story that really didn't need to be adapted into the big screen. It's a generally quiet and slow moving film without a satisfying climax and is too foccused on fitting with the Australian favourite genres, "coming-of-age" and nostaglia to say anything truly meaningful.
