Depressing movie, beautiful australian outback though...
Wonderful child actor... captures the anguish, angst and the struggle he faced with a unreliable ?mentally ill mother and a devoted but unpredictable father. Inspite of such a difficult childhood he grows up to be a well adjusted person... so maybe its not just conditioning..but how we respond to the challenges life throws at us?
