Review of Romper Stomper (1992) by Corpse M — 20 Jun 2009

Well directed, acted and edited, though it almost seems to glorify the very behavior it sets out to condemn. What I found the most disturbing was the scene at the end where all the Asian tourists get off the bus and start taking photos and videos of the burning car.

For a film that takes on racism as a theme, it seems a little insensitive to portray all Asians as camera toting tourists.
