Review of Romancing the Stone (1984) by Patrick S — 28 Oct 2010
This is embarrassing. I never realized that Romancing the Stone is supposed to be a romance novel. It's so obvious from the damsel in distress to the rugged hero to the silly, romantic ending -- to the word "Romancing" in the title.
Even the cover art is a mere Fabio short of appearing on a supermarket shelf. It just never occurred to me until now. I'm dumb. But the movie is lots of fun.
